WEDO is a global women’s advocacy organization. WEDO envisions a just world that promotes and protects human rights, gender equality, and the integrity of the environment. WEDO focuses on global climate policy, sustainable cities and transport, protecting biodiversity, disaster reduction, natural resource management, research about climate change and its link to the disintegration of women's rights, and shifting towards a sustainable and equitable economic system. WEDO is open to all girls and women who want to take action for gender equality and environmental protection.
